The Wildlife Resources Card is required by all Nova Scotia residents in order to purchase any resident licence issued under the Wildlife Act and Regulations.
The Nova Scotia Wildlife Resources Card (WRC) is an identification card that all Nova Scotia residents are required to have in order to purchase any resident licence issued under the Wildlife Act and Regulations. The WRC is issued in replacement of the Nova Scotia Firearm Hunting Certificate, Bow Hunting Certificate, and the Fur Harvester Certificate.

In order to pass the online Hunting Safety Course and get your Certificate of Completion, you must pass each chapter quiz and the final exam with a grade of at least 80%.
In order to pass the online Crossbow Safety Course, you must pass each chapter quiz with a grade of at least 80%.
If you have completed the Nova Scotia Online Hunting Safety Course, you can obtain a Wildlife Resources Card by following the instructions found on your course completion certificate.
A Certificate of Completion is required to attend the Final Hunter Education Exam at your local Department of Lands and Forestry office. If you have lost your certificate, you can log in to your exam center and print out a new copy. You can also contact HUNTERcourse.com at 1-866-495-4868 or email info@huntercourse.com and we will send you a copy of your Certificate of Completion.
You can take the online course at any time, day or night. However, courses must be completed within 90 days of payment. After 90 days, your access to the course will expire.
