A. The Oregon Field Day Voucher is issued once you have completed the Oregon Online Hunter Safety Course. The voucher is your admission ticket into a Oregon DFW Hunter Safety Field Day where you will complete your hunter safety training and obtain your Oregon Hunter Education Certificate.
A. No. The Field Day Voucher is proof that you have passed the online hunter safety course and allows you to take part in a Field Day, where you will be issued a hunter education certificate once you have successfully completed all activities and the final hunter safety exam.
A. The traditional Oregon Hunter Education Course is 12-14 hours in length and is usually given over a number of weeknights and/or weekends. With the online hunter safety course, you can do the bulk of the course work from home. You will only need to attend a single Internet Follow-up Field Day to get your Oregon Hunter Education Certificate.

A. The online hunter safety course is available to anyone at any time. However we strongly recommend that you locate a Field Day in your area before you get too far into the online course. Classes might be difficult to find in certain areas, so plan ahead!
A. In order to pass the online hunter safety course and get your Field Day Voucher, you must pass each chapter quiz with a grade of at least 80%.
A. The one-time course fee for the Youth Course (Field Day Voucher) is $29.00. The fee for the Certificate (Adult Course) is $39.00 - $29.00 for the online course and $10.00 for the permanent card processing fee. HUNTERcourse.com remits the extra $10.00 to Oregon Fish & Wildlife.
A. Contrary to popular belief, hunting is one of the safest sports around. This is mainly due to the fact that most hunters take gun safety and hunting safety very seriously. Careless or reckless behavior while hunting can lead to serious injury to one self or to innocent bystanders. This is why Oregon requires most hunters to take hunter education courses, and to follow the 10 rules of firearm safety at all times when hunting.
A. If you have lost your Oregon Hunter Safety Card you can request a replacement card through the ODFW. Simply download the replacement card form, and sent id to the ODFW along with the $10 replacement card fee.
A. The Field Day Voucher is required to attend the Oregon DWR 5-hour Internet Follow-up Field Day. If you have lost your Voucher you can sign in to your exam center and print out a new copy. A. You can take the online course at any time, day or night. However, courses must be completed within 90 days of payment at which time your access to the course will expire.
